Deutschland ist ein Zuwanderungsland. Fast ein Zehntel der Bevlkerung stammt aus anderen Kulturkreisen. Diese Kulturkreise haben meist ein anderes ethnisches oder theologisches Verstndnis von Medizin, der Ursachen von Krankheiten und der Aufgaben der Behandler. Damit einhergehen Erwartungshaltungen an die rztliche Zuwendung und die Art der Versorgung, die nicht dem herkmmlichen Verstndnis westlicher Medizin entsprechen. Welche Konsequenzen sich daraus fr den medizinischen Behandlungsalltag ergeben, wurde bisher kaum untersucht. Die Beitrge dieses Buches beleuchten die Thematik aus der Sicht des Klinikers wie des Juristen mit einem Schwerpunkt auf muslimischen Patienten.
