This West Coast series utilizes Shimano's TC4 blank construction, a process where a double layer core of advanced dynamic fibers is wrapped with an inner and outer spiral of high-modulus graphite. This results in a near industrial blank with great responsiveness and reduced physical weight, perfect for all day use. Each rod is outfitted with a complete lineup of Sea Guide Zirconia guides, durable, lightweight, and helping to enhance balance of each rod for best casting and fish fighting performance. Diamond wrap and EVA grips offer enhanced comfort, perfect for a day's worth of casting the inshore kelp fields for calicos and yellowtail, or pushing more offshore for tuna.
