Built around a rugged aluminum frame and sideplate, the Saltist Line Counter Reels are highly durable and corrosion resistant. The Ultimate Tournament Carbon Drag (UTD) provides exceptionally smooth drag payout and allows you to put the brakes on anything that comes your way. A newly redesigned built-in direct drive line counter system reads directly from the movement of dive gear, reducing chances of failure and continuing to provide accurate readings even after multiple seasons of use. The line counter sits securely on the frame for both rod holder and hand held applications. The machined aluminum spools offer plenty of room for significant amounts of line of all varieties including specialty trolling lines. Simply put, these reels are well deserving of a spot in the arsenal of any freshwater or saltwater trolling specialist.
