Kicking off the second generation of the high performance "Concept" series of baitcasters, the 13 Fishing Concept A2 Baitcasting Reels have been refined for improved performance marks across the board. Tough, reliable, and more capable than ever, the Concept A2 is the perfect reel to serve as the workhorse within your arsenal. Featuring an enhanced Bulldog Carbon Drag system, the Concept A2 puts out an astounding 25 lbs of stopping power that will be more than enough to put the brakes on any freshwater or inshore trophy. The reel's main gear is precision cut from hardened brass for smooth, powerful performance and will withstand grinding battles for many seasons to come. Compact and comfortably palmable, the new frame is an ultra-low palm fitting design that features 25% more line capacity without increasing the overall size of the reel. Braking is more finely adjustable in the second generation thanks to a new Low-Friction Braking system that provides anglers with smaller, more relevant adjustments for all lure weights. Anglers of all stripes will be able to appreciate 13 Fishing's new water channeling design intelligence, which further protects the reel from water intrusion to extend its lifetime, especially in saltwater environments. And of course, a slew of signature 13 Fishing features return from the original to provide the performance and reliability you'd expect from the Concept series.
