A small, compact baitcaster built for day in, day out angling, the Daiwa 2023 Tatula 100 Baitcasting Reels offer a lightweight package built robustly for seasons of hard use to come. Daiwa implemented their Hyperdrive Design within this Tatula, a combination of four key elements to create a more efficient, powerful, and rigid package. A smooth retrieve and powerful winding performance from these elements delivers an elevated experience that is seen on many of their top tier baitcasters. Its aluminum frame mitigates any flex the reel could have, maintaining a fluid operation of all its internals and a solid in hand feel. An all new redesigned A7075 aluminum spool shaves 15% of the weight off its previous generation, further enabling this reels capability to make long casts and toss even lighter baits. Jerkbaits, light soft plastics, topwater baits and more sit at home with this baitcaster, keeping the angling edge over the competition. Hyper Drive Design Technologies: Hyperdrive Digigear - a brand-new gear design makes the teeth of the gears more efficient at transferring power, therefore making the gear set feel smoother, more powerful and also reducing gear noise. Hyper Double Support- a two bearing support system for the reel's pinion gear means no flex and an ultra-smooth retrieve and gear rotation. Hyper Armed Housing - the reel features a aluminum frame and sideplate for maximum rigidity and precision performance of the internal components.
