Mustad Impact Spring Jig Heads are designed to allow you to get the most out of your soft plastic baits. These jig heads feature a unique spring twist soft plastic keeper behind the head that is far more effective at preventing baits from slipping down the hook shank than traditional barbed keepers. Simply rig your plastic bait as you normally would, but instead of pushing the bait over the bait keeper, rotate the soft plastic around the hook shank, allowing the wire of the coiled spring to thread into the front of the bait. This system allows for far more fish to be caught on a single soft plastic bait, and also prevents your plastics from slipping down the hook shank when making long hard casts. The Mustad Impact Spring Jig Heads utilize a black nickel needle point hook with a 30 degree line tie and are suitable for both fresh and saltwater applications.
