Das Asset Pricing ist ein seit Jahrzehnten etablierter Forschungszweig in der konomie und hat das Ziel, den fairen heutigen Wert von knftigen unsicheren Cashflows zu ermitteln. Eine wichtige Fragestellung besteht darin, welche Diskontraten zur Bewertung der unsicheren Cashflows herangezogen werden sollten. Michael Vorfeld prsentiert die Grundlagen des Asset Pricing und stellt statische Faktor-Modelle wie das Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) und die Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT) vor. Da der risikolose Zinssatz, die Risikoprmie des Marktes sowie der Beta-Faktor zeitvariabel sind, geht der Autor auf dieses Phnomen der Diskontraten ein. Zur Bewertung von unsicheren Cashflows zieht er Bewertungsmodelle heran und unterzieht die wesentlichen Forschungserkenntnisse wie z.B. die Zeitvariabilitt einer empirischen berprfung. Er identifiziert unter den analysierten statischen und dynamischen Modellen das Pricing-Modell, welches die Aktienrendite am ehesten zu erklren vermag. Der Autor zeigt, dass die dynamischen Modelle nicht berlegen sind, fr den Investoren jedoch u.a. aufgrund der verwendeten Vektor-autoregressiven Struktur wertvolle Informationen beinhalten.
