In der folgenden Abhandlung wird Marketing auch unter diesen Gesichtspunkten behandelt. Marketing verstehen die Autoren nicht als das eine Fhrungskonzept einer Organisation, sondern als ein Element vollstndigen und integrierten Denkens. Ebensowenig ist Marketing eine ausschlielich an der Bedrfnisbefriedigung der Marktteilnehmer orientierte Konzeption. Primr dient es der Durchsetzung unternehmerischer oder anderer Eigeninteressen, hat also Selbstzweckcharakter.
