Jens Mller-Merbach untersucht die statistischen Eigenschaften von Stromterminpreisen und entwickelt ein dynamisches Gleichgewichtsmodell, aus dem sich endogen eine Strom-Terminstrukturkurve ergibt. Er zeigt, dass Stromterminpreise in Abhngigkeit der Umweltbedingungen positive oder negative Risikoprmien auf den erwarteten Spotpreis enthalten knnen. Auf Basis mehrjhriger Zeitreihen von Nord-Pool-Daten verifiziert er das Vorliegen von Risikoprmien und vergleicht in einer empirischen Studie die Prognosegte seines Modells mit derjenigen eines Reduced-Form-Modells, wobei das Gleichgewichtsmodell deutlich bessere Ergebnisse liefert.
