Der Einfhrung in die zur Formulierung Finiter Elemente notwendigen Grundlagen der Kontinuumsmechanik fester Krper schlieen sich Kapitel zur Lsung der Feldprobleme der Kontinuumsmechanik mit Finiten Elementen an. Dabei wird die Herleitung der Finite Elemente Matrizen exemplarisch fr das gekoppelte thermomechanische Problem durchgefhrt, wobei als Material der hyperelastische und elastoplastische Werkstoff betrachtet wird. Dazu werden die zur Lsung der nichtlinearen Aufgabenstellung verwendeten Lsungsalgorithmen besprochen sowie die Genauigkeit spezieller Elementformulierungen anhand einfacher Testbeispiele demonstriert.
