Das Kubitaltunnelsyndrom beschreibt eine Kompression des N. ulnaris im Bereich des Ellbogens. Klinisch kann es zu Parsthesien, Schmerzen und muskulrer Schwche bis hin zur muskulren Atrophie am Unterarm und der Hand kommen. Die Diagnose wird meist klinisch gestellt, elektrophysiologische und bildgebende Verfahren helfen jedoch bei der Sicherung der Diagnose. Therapeutisch kommt bei milden Symptomen eine Verlaufskontrolle oder eine konservative Therapie in Betracht. Operative Verfahren sind Patienten mit Beschwerdepersistenz unter konservativer Therapie, Muskelatrophien und sensomotorischen Ausfallerscheinungen vorbehalten. Prognostisch entscheidend sind die Dauer und der Schweregrad des Kubitaltunnelsyndroms.
