Mit der vorliegenden Studie schlgt die Autorin eine Lektre des pasolinischen Werkes im Zeichen des Dionysos vor. Diese Perspektive zu whlen, legt der experimentelle Roman Teorema nahe, mit dem Pasolini die Epiphanie des Dionysos vor allem in den Mustern der Bakchen des Euripides entfaltet. Gefragt wird unter diesen Vorraussetzungen, auf welche Weise Pasolini Aspekte des Dionysos -Mythos, insbesondere das Motiv des sich im Spiegel reflektierenden Dionysos, und Strukturen des antiken Dramas gestaltet. Diese Fragestellung wird schliesslich ausgedeht auf Pasolinis theatertheoretische und rezeptionssthetische Thesen, die in Teorema verdichtet sind. Ein zweiter Schwerpunkt der Betrachtung des Romans Teorema zielt dahin, auf der Basis psychoanalytischer Theorie die Bedeutungen der Sexualitt, die sich in den Bildern des Dionysos-Mythos manifestieren, nachzuzeichnen. Damit kann einerseits begrndet werden, dass durch das Erscheinen des Dionysos gerade (mnnliche) Homosexualitt thematisiert wird, andererseits beleuchtet werden, wie der Gott homosexuelles Begehren zu symbolisieren vermag.
