Die Arbeit erforscht, wie zeitgenssische Romane von Wieland und Wezel aus diesen Tierfigurationen eine Zoopoetik entwickeln. Der spezifische Gebrauch der Romantiere in den untersuchten Texten macht die Funktion von Tierkonzeptionen fr Anthropologie und Politik des 18. Jahrhunderts besser verstehbar.
