OVERVIEW: The Hankook Winter i*cept evo2 SUV is a performance, winter tire manufactured for SUVs.This model offers great winter weather traction with its detailed asymmetric footprint and silica-based compound. It features special 3D zigzag sipes and optimized grooves that create the necessary grip on the road. Additionally, it also sports ax-shaped lateral grooves that boost the tire's snow performance, without the use of studs. The silica elements of the compound keep the rubber flexible even in freezing temperatures. Four different types of grooves help to prevent hydroplaning, as they channel water and slush from the footprint. These grooves are wider and optimally angled to maximize wet weather driving safety.Better road contact is guaranteed with the asymmetric tread design. The optimally placed blocks create a continuous pattern, which maintains the tire's surface contact at all times. As a result, the tire is able to enhance steering responsiveness and driving stability. This provides quick and precise steering responses, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Better control over the vehicle allows the driver to confidently steer throughout the performance.The Winter i*cept evo2 SUV utilizes its various tread elements to boost maneuvering as well. The tire features wider outer shoulder blocks. These blocks, along with their zigzag sipes, firmly grip the road when cornering, as they provide additional biting edges. The stable footprint's zigzag sipe and groove placement generate friction when braking.
