This Queen's Gambit Chess Board is an exquisite production by Ferrer in Spain, the same premier chess board producer who made the board for the recent TV show hit with Beth Harmon. The board design was depicted in finals of the USSR 1968 Championship match between Beth Harmon and Vasily Borgov in the Netflix series 'The Queen's Gambit'.This exquisite chess board is a true collectors item and and excellent gift for play with a variety of chessmen. Several recommended chess piece pairings are shown in the photos and Options on this page.Made in Spain, the board showcases a beautiful design, with light Ash root and dyed poplar veneer, accentuated by an interior border parkay inlay. Measuring 21.65" square (550 mm) with 2.16" squares (55 mm), it features dark squares and border crafted from black dyed poplar, and light squares made of Ash root. The board's matte finish and parkay inlay enhances its sophistication.
