Our Executive Large Carry-All Plastic Chess Set is an excellent choice for any level, whether beginner or experienced tournament player. This package includes our Executive Plastic Chess Set with black and ivory pieces, our Large Carry-All Chess Bag, and Lightweight Floppy Chess Board. The Executive has an elegant Staunton design with unusually tall knights and rooks, a feature many chess players prefer. The king is 3.875" tall with a 1.75" diameter based and the pieces have a broad base design that is nicely weighted with the full set weighing 38 ounces. This is a 34 piece set that includes 2 extra queens for pawn promotion.Our Large Carry All Tournament Chess Bag will hold everything you need for your chess game. Inside there are 2 zippered compartments for holding the black and white pieces separately, a large compartment that will fit any chess clock, elastic straps for securing a rollup chess board, and a full length pocket for scorebooks. The chess piece compartments will hold plastic sets with up to a 3.75" king including spare queens. The bag is 23.5" long and will hold a 22" chess board. It has both a handle and detachable shoulder strap to make it easy to carry and zips open on 3 sides to make it easy to get things in and out.The lightweight floppy chess board combines the benefit of a flexible rubber backed mousepad board with the thinness of vinyl or silicone chess board. The top surface is a fabric material that is washable while the bottom is a thin rubber mat and together the board is only 1 mm thick (~040").
