This set features a tall king with a base of 1.375", an ideal set for casual games at home with family and friends. Pieces have green billiard cloth pads for a soft landing on the chess board and are nicely weighted for stability. The golden rosewood and boxwood pieces are hand polished and lacquered to a beautiful luster. Our Two-Compartment Loose Piece Chess Box is a simple and practical solution for storing chess pieces. Made of heavy cardboard, the exterior is covered with a luxurious black leather-like paper. Our gold foil stamped logo displayed on top adds a level of sophistication and will remind you where the pieces came from.
