This chess set includes World War II hand painted theme chess pieces matched with our Walnut and Maple Deluxe Chess Board. The two kings are represented by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Adolf Hitler. The queen and bishops are represented by the head American and German generals, the knights are tanks, rooks the capital buildings, and infantry soldiers are the pawns. The pieces are artistically designed with features and fine detail to capture the essence of the characters. The pieces are cast in solid polystone, an extremely hard, stone-like material, and are hand painted in realistic colors by highly skilled artisans with amazing detail.
