This chess set includes our German Knight Staunton with black and aged ivory color plastic pieces matched our Club Vinyl Rollup Chess Board. These unique pieces look and feel like real wood but they're plastic! The German Knight is a favorite for club players and used more than any other set in tournaments. The king is 3.9" tall and has a base diameter of 1.7". The pieces are nicely weighted for exceptional stability on the chess board and we include 2 extra queens for pawn promotion. The chess board is made from a pliable vinyl with a cloth backing that will withstand the rigors of travel and frequent play.
