Thanks to its tread pattern, the tire has great road grip in dry, wet and winter conditions. The circumferential tread grooves channel water from below the tire footprint and resist dangerous hydroplaning situations and increase wet road traction. These enhancements ensure year-round safety.The tire's optimized road contact area improves the tire's handling and its tread life. The better road contact makes the tire easy to control as its steering responsiveness becomes more responsive and more accurate. The better steering responsiveness allows the tire to respond quickly and precisely to the instructions of the driver. As the tire is easily controlled, the driver is able to confidently steer the vehicle in all weather conditions. The tread life is also extended with the larger footprint. The maximized road contact area equally spreads the driving pressure across the tread area, which prevents irregular wear. As the tire wear is equal across the tread area, the tire is usable for a longer period of time.The shoulder tread block design increases the cornering and maneuvering capability of the tire.
