Strands of pearls embellish a cake, and the Classic-Pearl-Border mold gives you those strands. For digestible pearls that look like the oyster extracts worn on top of clothing, paint the strands with pearl luster dust. Create your jewel string with isomalt--the bubbling heat will not affect the food safety of the silicone, which is temperature resistant to 450 Fahrenheit. 3/4 inch x 6-1/4 inch. The sharp ridges on the edge of the mold serve as blades for a neat cut in your fondant. The designs of the different Classic Pearl molds complement each other, so use this mold by itself or with the Classic Pearl swag (item SWM-06) or Classic Pearl Drop mold (SWM-08) to apply a varied pearl theme around the cake. Stamp a design on marzipan (similar to almond paste), buttercream, royal icing, fondant, gumpaste and candy clay Shape your butter, chocolate and fudge Lend detailed shapes to hard and gummy candy Serve your gelatin, jello, p'tcha (a.k.a. galleh) and aspic in unexpected shapes Marvelous Molds are safe in the freezer too, so use them for ice and ice cream as well as hot or room-temperature edibles.
