Features:Dounce tissue grinders are made from smooth surfaced borosilicate glass to eliminate glass particles in the reduced sample.They are useful in enzyme studies and recommended where heat build-up should be avoided.Has two pestles: Large Clearance - for initial reduction of soft tissue or cellular sample (0.0035" to 0.0055")Small Clearance - completes homogenization with retention of a high percentage of nuclei and mitochondria (0.0035" to 0.0055").
