Due to the number of boats, yachts, and vessels this tape can be used on, put in a large amount of development to make a 100% salt resistant boat grip tape. felt this was a necessary feature for this material to have, as without this feature, the material may begin to lift or degrade due to the high salt content in the open seas.By guaranteeing this material is 100% resistant to salt, can be sure that when applying Marine anti slip tape to a clean and dry surface, this material should cure to the surface well, and create a great boat grip tape, lasting for a long amount of time.Marine anti slip tape is a non-abrasive material, making it very kind to skin, and comfortable to walk on. Unlike standard Safety Grip™ anti skid tape, this material is made by using rounded granules, known as S2, like small glass beads, allowing for a strong boat grip tape without compromising the comfort or easy cleaning properties a normal non-abrasive would have! An abrasive alternative to this tape is made of a harsh, sharp edged granule, aluminum oxide, designed to create a powerful grip, but at the cost of potential damage to any soft material touching it e.g. skin.
