We just cant help but stare at our captivating Eye Painting Tray. We created this JH exclusive in collaboration with renowned designer and artist John Derian, who, since 1989, has delighted decor enthusiasts everywhere with handmade decoupaged goods crafted from his expansive collection of 18th and 19th century illustrations, calligraphy and found pages. Inspired by Derians process and our own love for all things antique, we pulled this striking image out of a vintage painting from the personal collection of our very own Chief Creative Officer, Devin Kirk, which he gathered while traveling throughout Europe over the years. Derian and his skilled team of artisans then expertly reproduced this one-of-a-kind find under handblown glass in his NYC studio, creating a beautiful decoupaged dish that captures every brushstroke and unique characteristic of the original artwork.
