We created this JH exclusive in collaboration with renowned designer and artist John Derian, who, since 1989, has delighted decor enthusiasts everywhere with handmade decoupaged goods crafted from his expansive collection of curious 18th and 19th century images. Inspired by Derians process and our own love for all things vintage, we sourced the composition featured here from the personal collection of our very own Chief Creative Officer, Devin Kirk. I brought this rare round canvas painting home from Provence, he shares. Its unusual shape and scale made it impossible to pass up. This plate version is almost identical in size! Derian and his skilled team of artisans have expertly reproduced this one-of-a-kind find under handblown glass in his NYC studio, creating a beautiful decoupaged dish that captures every brushstroke and unique characteristic of the original artwork.
