OVERVIEW: The Continental Conti EcoPlus HS3 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. The tire is made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.The model guarantees excellent all weather traction. The all season compound and the symmetric tread design with the ribbed pattern enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps its flexible traction throughout the year, while the tread design firmly grips the road surface with the additional biting edges of the siping detail. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. This combination promotes a safer year round performing capability.The flat footprint's optimal road contact enhances the tread life. The flat footprint allows the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthen the tread life and the tire's usability. They actively resist irregular tread wear formations across the tire's surface. The tire's durable compound manages to slows down the tread wear rate, as its wear-resistant endurance prevents excessive tread wear. The longer tread life extends the tire's usability and service life significantly.The Conti EcoPlus HS3's even force distribution eases the pressure off the tire and lowers its rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the external driving pressure affecting the tire that determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, offering a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.
