The pieces have a traditional Staunton design with a stout but graceful profile and an extra-wide base for exceptional stability on the chess board. The king is 3.75"tall with a 1.8" diameter base and the 34 pieces weigh a combined 48 ounces. We include 2 extra queens for pawn promotion.Our Large Carry All Tournament Chess Bag will hold everything you need for your chess game. Inside there are 2 zippered compartments for holding the black and white pieces separately, a large compartment that will fit any chess clock, elastic straps for securing a rollup chess board, and a full length pocket for scorebooks. The chess piece compartments will hold plastic sets with up to a 3.75" king including spare queens. The bag is 23.5" long and will hold a 22" chess board.
