The Professional is a traditional Staunton set in every respect with attractive Jacque-esque knights that are beautifully sculpted and have fine detail. The pieces have a stout yet graceful profile with a wide base allowing for extra-heavy weighting that provides exceptional stability on the chess board. The king is 4.125" tall with a 1.875" base and the combined 34 pieces weigh an impressive 60 ounces. Two extra queens for pawn promotion and the pieces have green felt pads on the bottom. The black and camel color pieces create a nice contrast with the black and buff chess board.Our Deluxe Carry-All Tournament Chess Bag is thoughtfully designed for holding everything the chess player needs and makes it easy to carry to the next game. The bag is made of an attractive and heavy nylon material that is durable and will withstand the wear of travel for many years.
