This attractive chess set features a unique, contemporary design unlike any other chess set. Each The knight is beautifully sculpted with detailed features including the mane, bridle, eyes, ears, and mouth. The king is 7.5 cm (approx. 3") tall and has a base diameter of 2.4 cm (approx. 1"). The pieces are made from solid brass and are lacquered to prevent them from ever tarnishing. Pieces have red felt pads with each one embossed with the Italfama logo.The chess case is beautifully designed and skillfully constructed by the craftsmen of Italfama and compliments the richness of the brass pieces . The case features solid fruit wood frame with an elegant molded profile surrounding a beautiful brown and white Tuscan alabaster chess board on top.
