This attractive chess set has a traditional Staunton design that everyone recognizes. The entire surface of each piece is decorated with a unique ornamental engraving giving them a luxurious appearance. The king is 7.5 cm (approx. 3") tall and has a base diameter of 2.5 cm (approx. 1"). The pieces are solid cast zinc formed by the old-world lost-wax casting process and are brass and nickel plated.
