This complete chess set package includes The Labors of Hercules chess pieces, brass chess board, and an attractive wood case that holds both the chess pieces and board. Each piece is wonderfully designed and sculpted with fine detail to capture the essence of the characters portrayed in this chess set. The pieces are die cast solid zinc with brass and nickel plating that gives the pieces a shiny gold and silver look. The final step is a varnish finish to protect the pieces from ever tarnishing.The chess board is made from a sheet of brass with each square delineated by a raised edge.
