These handsome pieces have traditional Staunton features and are a favorite for chess players wanting a set that will stand up to the rigor of frequent use. These are boxwood pieces with a unique decorative design carved into each piece and a high gloss lacquer finish. The pieces are heavily weighted for superior balance and stability on the chess board.
