Fhrung als Forschungsthema gewinnt seit einiger Zeit zunehmend an Bedeutung. Im Vordergrund steht dabei meist die Auseinandersetzung zwischen Eigenschafts- und Verhaltenstheorien. Auf der Basis einer empirischen Untersuchung rckt Jrgen Mhlbacher attributionstheoretische Rollenmodelle der Fhrung in den Mittelpunkt seiner Studie und entwickelt ein eigenes Modell der Wahrnehmung von Fhrung, das er mittels einer linguistischen Inhaltsanalyse testet. Der Autor beschreibt Fhrung als quasi unabhngig von konkreten Eigenschaften oder Verhaltensweisen der Fhrenden, einzig beruhend auf den Wahrnehmungen und Zuschreibungen der Beobachtenden, also der Gefhrten.
