The pieces have a traditional Staunton design with a stout but graceful profile and an extra-wide base for exceptional stability on the chess board. The king is 3.75"tall with a 1.8" diameter base and the 34 pieces weigh a combined 48 ounces. We include 2 extra queens for pawn promotion.Our Deluxe Carry-All Tournament Chess Bag is thoughtfully designed for holding everything the chess player needs and makes it easy to carry to the next game. The bag is made of an attractive and heavy nylon material that is durable and will withstand the wear of travel for many years. The bag has both a handle and a detachable shoulder strap for convenient carrying and a double zipper that opens the bag on three sides to make it easy to get things out.
