The Deluxe Old Club is an ageless classic that for years has been a favorite with players for its distinguished knight and traditional Staunton design. Often referred to as the Reykjavik, the Deluxe Old Club is well recognized having been used on countless chess book covers and other chess art. African padauk is one of the most colorful exotic woods in the world with its burgundy-orange color. This is a tournament size set with a tall king. The pieces are heavily weighted for exceptional balance and stability on the chess boards while thick green billiard cloth pads allow the pieces to slide smoothly from square to square.
