The perked ears, eyes, mouth, and mane create a fierce looking countenance that gives this set its name. Handcrafted from golden rosewood and boxwood, the pieces are lacquer polished to a lustrous shine. This is a large chess set with a tall king and a base diameter of 1.75", perfect for your tournament chess games. Pieces are triple weighted for exceptional stability and have thick green baize pads for a soft feel on the chess board. We include a certificate of authenticity so you will always know what the model is, the type of wood, the year it was made and where it came from.Our Walnut and Maple Molded Edge Chess Board from Rechapados Ferrer combines classic design with elegant features to create an eye-catching battle field for your chess game.
