The Deluxe Old Club is often displayed on the front cover of countless chess books and has been used for plastic chess set models because of its popularity with club and tournament players. This set features a tall king with a base of 1.375", an ideal set for casual games at home with family and friends. Pieces have green billiard cloth pads for a soft landing on the chess board and are nicely weighted for stability. The rich golden-brown colors of the golden rosewood pieces blend perfectly with the walnut board. We include a certificate of authenticity so you will always know what the chess set is, where it came from, and when it was made.Our Deluxe Chess Case has two drawers with individual compartments for storing all 32 chess pieces separately.
