Pieces are weighted for stability on the chess board and have thick green baize pads. The chess bag is made from a heavy canvas material that will withstand the rigors of frequent use and travel. Inside the bag you'll find 2 compartments for chess pieces, a compartment for a chess clock. elastic straps for securing the board, and a pocket for storing books and pencils. An adjustable shoulder strap and handle makes carrying a breeze. The chess board is made from a soft, pliable vinyl with a cloth backing and has alphanumeric notation on the sides to help record moves.
