This unique chess set includes our Bohemian Series Chess Pieces in ebonized and natural boxwood matched with our Walnut and Maple Molded Edge Chess Board. Our Bohemian draws inspiration from a vintage German design of the 1950s, showcasing a distinctive knight with enchanting dragon-like features. This is a thirty-four-piece set that includes two extra queens for pawn promotion. The pieces are handcrafted from boxwood with the ebonized pieces stained and polished to a lustrous black ebony-like finish. This is a large, tournament size set with a 4-inch-tall king. The pieces are heavily weighted for exceptional stability and have thick green baize pads on the bottom for a soft cushion and that allow the pieces to slide smoothly across the chess board. The simplistic but elegant elements of this unique design from king to pawn allow the game itself to be the focus of attention while enhancing every move.Our Walnut and Maple Molded Edge Chess Board from Rechapados Ferrer combines classic design with elegant features to create an eye-catching battle field for your chess game.
