The knight features a simple but handsome design and the pieces are heavily weighted making this a poplar set for club and tournament competition as well as the game at home. These are tournament size pieces with a tall king and a base diameter of 1.625". The pieces are heavily weighted for stability on the chess board and have thick green baize pads. A wide black delimiter accentuates the playing field and enhances the rich color of the mahogany while the black stained molded edge highlights the entire board. The squares are 2" and the footprint of the board is 19.5" square.
